Sam DiGennaro, CEO and Founder of DiGennaro Communications, is a force in the advertising industry as a public relations expert with nearly 20 years of experience in promoting some of the most creative ad agencies in the industry.

Sam set out to spread her wings and founded DiGennaro Communications in 2006, after honing in her expertise at JWT and DMB&B. She currently leads an office of approximately 35 team members that serve a variety of clients across the ad marketing and consumer PR space, including Goodby, DDB, David & Goliath, la comunidad, McDonalds and Pandora among other ongoing clients. With these clients, Sam and her dedicated team work to promote some of the most creative campaigns in the industry.

Since DGC’s opening, Sam has been named Entrepreneur of the Year in 2012 at the Stevie Awards. In addition to the Stevies, under Sam’s watch, DiGennaro Communications has received recognition in outstanding leadership and company growth including, Top 10 Great Entrepreneurial Places to Work from NY Enterprise Report (2011 and 2012); Inc. 500|5000: America’s Fastest Growing Private Companies for three consecutive years (2011, 2012, 2013); and Best Overall Company of the Year from Stevie Awards for Women in Business (2011 and 2012).

Sam has made the rounds as a speaker at major conferences including the 4A’s PR Conference and the Mirren New Business Conference. Sam is also a member of the ADC Board of Directors, as well as the Board of Poly Prep Country Day School.

While Sam is a PR practitioner by trade, she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Chicago, where she studied Art & Design and English Literature; she also studied etching at The School of Visual Arts. She spends her spare time as an adventure traveler, a softball player, and an etcher (many of Sam’s etchings grace the walls of DGC’s NYC office!).
