About
In the advertising business of “Mad Men” where Thornberg & Forester principal Elizabeth Kiehner is focused, by-and-large, it is still a man’s world. At least to us, this makes Elizabeth’s accomplishments that much more impressive. Since launching T&F in 2007, Elizabeth and her colleagues have focused on bringing core values like human rights to the forefront while handling commercial assignments from major cultural events, networks, brands and agencies. Today, thanks to Elizabeth’s vision, T&F’s meticulously designed cinematic original artistic content is being used to help raise funds for scores of major nonprofits and financial institutions, promote humanitarian awards programs, attract and build viewership, fortify global brands… and even to confront immense problems like human sex trafficking and sustainable energy. As a leader in both management and business growth, Elizabeth has achieved this by challenging herself and her clients to break perceived boundaries and fearlessly push toward their goals against all odds.
An active member of the TED community, Elizabeth is a rising presenter at leading global creative and business conferences nationwide. In 2013 alone, she spoke at the Motion Conference in Albuquerque, the PromaxBDA Conference in Los Angeles, Digital Hollywood events in LA, Las Vegas (at CES) and New York, SXSW in Austin, the Styleframes NYC Conference, the New York Media Summit, and at events organized by Women’s Venture Fund NYC and the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce. In 2011, Elizabeth co-created a custom Digital Production curriculum through SheSays, the only global creative network for women, and she continues teaching it as one of four instructors. She is also a Boardmember of the American Marketing Association’s New York Chapter. A mother of two, Elizabeth is a contributing writer for Women 2.0 and strongly advocates the advancement of women, especially in the field of business.
