About
What I do:
I help set the vision and philosophy of the agency.
What I've done:
I've done stand-up comedy, hosted two reality TV shows, acted off-Broadway, taught music theory at CCNY, co-wrote three best-selling books, helped to create those teary-eyed Kodak moments and wrote the Toys ‘R’ Us jingle—which has been running so long those kids are now grandparents— and composed music for television and theater. My favorite hobby is sleeping.
How I lead the change:
I learned a valuable lesson early on in life: lose the fear. When you trust your gut (it has an I.Q. that’s off the charts), and aren’t afraid to take risks, you have an amazing sense of freedom and empowerment. It’s what helped me back in 1997 when I founded the Kaplan Thaler Group, and what drives me today as Chairman of Publicis Kaplan Thaler. Lose the fear, especially of change, and see how much you’ll gain.
