  • About
Judy began her career as a copywriter, honing her craft at agencies ranging from small independent shops to large multinationals to running her own company. Judy joined Leo Burnett Toronto in 1999, as Chief Creative Officer and in March 2011, was promoted and added the CEO title.
Under her direction, Leo Burnett Toronto has been recognized nationally and globally, winning at virtually every show. Highlights include winning the first-ever D&AD Black Pencil in the Digital category, creating the most awarded billboard campaign in the world in 2009, and being the most awarded Canadian agency at the One Show in 2011 and then again in 2012 -- winning 9 pencils across all four shows: One Show, Design, Interactive and Entertainment. Following winning the Advertising & Design Club of Canada’s inaugural Agency of the Year award in 2011, Leo Burnett was awarded Design Agency of the Year in 2012.
The momentum in 2012 continued, with Leo Burnett Toronto being ranked #1 agency in Canada in The Won Report, named Canada’s Marketing Magazine Agency of the year, and Young Guns Design Agency of the Year.
Everything from Judy’s work ethic to her management style, she learned from years of waiting tables and packing take-out orders at her parents' restaurant.
