    “You can’t go home again,” one well-known writer said. “What a bunch of hooey,” another well-known writer–namely, Tina–responded as she left New York in 2003 and headed home to Texas, a locale she and husband Ed deemed the far better place to raise their kids. (And to satisfy their mutual need to do compelling advertising, we might interject.) Tina’s family was delighted to have her back home. We were every bit as delighted to have her join The Richards Group.

    Tina’s ability to wrap her mind around complex strategic challenges and transform them into simple, powerful brand ideas is in ample evidence in her work for some of our clients such as ULTA Beauty and Fleet Laboratories. Before coming to The Richards Group, she applied this talent successfully at some of the other top agencies in the country–Fallon, Mad Dogs & Englishmen, Cliff Freeman, and Wieden+Kennedy–and for some of the top brands, such as Nike, ESPN, Kate Spade, Avon, and Little Caesars.

    Tina stumbled into advertising at the University of Texas after a short and not altogether happy stint as a business major. We should all “stumble” so gracefully. When she’s not immersed in advertising, she’s immersed in home life with Ed (who’s also in advertising) and their two daughters, Hudson and Scout.
