A staple at industry leading conferences like Sustainable Brands and Center for Corporate Citizenship, Susan constantly emphasizes the importance of creativity in all of her work. On the forefront of the CSR industry, Susan emphasizes authentic and creative corporate engagement – not just greenwashing. Through #CSRChat, a chat she founded and runs, she engages corporate leaders to discuss the importance of businesses doing “good.” #CSRChat is the most recognized online engagement vehicle in the CR industry. In 2013, Susan founded McPherson Strategies where she and her team advise organizations like Giving Tuesday, Global Citizen Year and Zady.
