As Global Digital Strategy Director, Jinal supports the evolution of JWT's digital strategy and the growth of its digital capabilities. Additionally, she works closely with global business directors to drive new business and integrate acquisitions across developing markets.
With more than nine years of experience as a leading strategist, she has worked in both pure-play digital and full-service digital roles. She has previously led the strategy team at POSSIBLE New York for Revlon. She has also served as Digital Strategy Director at JWT New York, working on a range of local, regional and global brands such as Nestlé, Macy’s and T. Rowe Price.
Shah began her career in digital by launching ideablob and later worked at boutique agencies on the launch and evolution of American Express OPEN Forum and projects for GE, Food Network and The Economist.
A native of Mumbai, Shah was named one of the The Guardian’s Ten Digital Strategists to Watch in 2013 and has been called a “rising star in the world of advertising” by TED. Shah’s work has been recognized with top creativity honors including Webby, DEMO, Art Directors Club, Clio and Cannes Gold and Silver Lions. She is the recipient of the WPP/JWT High Potential Leadership Award and made iMedia’s list of 25 Internet Marketing Leaders and Innovators for 2013.
